School Uniform
In 2019, there was a parental consultation around uniform. From this, we encourage parents to support their children in wearing our Holme School Uniform.
Term Time Wear offer our uniform that is branded with our school logo, but this is not a necessity and uniform can be purchased unbranded from many retailers. We ask that children wear clothing in the school colours of red and black. We do appreciate that this is not always possible and with this in mind there is still freedom of choice. On these occasions, sensible clothes and footwear should be worn that are appropriate for the weather and the activities on a typical school day.
At all times for health and safety reasons, footwear should be appropriate to the age of the child and no laced footwear should be worn unless your child is able to tie their own shoe laces independently.
On PE days (Monday and Wednesday), PE kit can be worn.
For PE and other physical activities in and out of school, long hair should be tied back and jewellery should not be worn.
Our school uniform consists of:
- Black skirt/trousers
- Red/black sweatshirt or red cardigan
- Red/black polo shirt
- Black Shoes
- In the warmer months - red and white summer dresses
Our PE kit consists of:
- Red PE T-shirt
- Black shorts or jogging bottoms
- Pumps/trainers
Friends of Holme School also offer a regular uniform exchange, where uniform can be purchased second-hand. We also encourage any parents who no longer require uniform that is in good condition to donate this to the school, where we can offer it to other parents and carers for a small suggested donation. If this interests you, please do not hesitate to speak to Miss Talbot in the school office.
